Nature Photography

The Nature collection gathers images taken with an iPhone 7 during years of walking and then living in solitude close to the land. These photographs capture moments of quiet attention—flowers, insects, trees, mushrooms, animals, and people briefly merging with their surroundings. Each image is an intimate observation rather than a capture; nothing was cut or staged, black cloth and black cardboard were used to isolate flowers in their environment without having to remove them. Taken in stillness and presence, they reflect a deep companionship with nature, a dialogue between the observer and the living world, where simplicity reveals its own form of wonder.
