About
Tanausú is an artist whose path bridges fashion, conceptual art, and a deep connection to nature. Born in the Canary Islands, he began his career in London assisting and then working as a fashion photographer, travelling internationally and exploring the ways identity and image intersect with personal expression. From there, he moved into conceptual art, seeking a more profound creative language.
A three-year, 12,500-kilometre walk for peace, followed by years living in solitude close to nature, became a period of deep personal reflection and a renewed relationship with the environment. During this time, he developed his nature photography and collage work, exhibiting pieces in the south of France that combine aesthetic exploration with thoughtful insight into human experience and current affairs.
Now returning to the worlds of fashion and art, Tanausú brings a vision of fashion with a conscience. He believes that the love people have for wearing and expressing identity can be a force for good: that haute couture and personal style can inspire without harming animals or the planet. His work seeks to unite beauty, authenticity, and ethical responsibility, offering a perspective where creativity and consciousness coexist.
