I wish you were here ( Photography Installation)

On the surface, this installation mimics the cheerful postcard grid we associate with holidays, exotic places, and curated memories. But instead of beaches and sunsets, it offers the overlooked reality of city life — tree stumps, roots boxed in concrete, patches of dirt. The title, borrowed from the language of postcards and Instagram captions, becomes bittersweet: I wish you were here no longer speaks of idyllic destinations but of absence, neglect, and the quiet resilience of nature in hostile environments. It confronts the viewer with the gap between what we choose to notice and what we ignore daily. The trees — symbols of life — are reduced to background, stripped of glory, yet presented as if they are the landmarks worth remembering.
